Scope
This standard provides purchasers with the technical information required to purchase gas turbine units, including combined cycle units and their auxiliary equipment, from manufacturers. Since the actual operating modes of gas turbines are very different, this standard (related parts) clearly classifies the operating modes, and each operating mode has corresponding standard ratings, which are formulated based on ISO standard environmental conditions. This standard provides the basis for the various environmental and safety requirements that must be met when bidding, and where possible the criteria for determining whether these requirements have been met. This standard does not involve national or local laws and regulations that must be complied with during gas turbine installation. This standard specifies the fuel and other issues involved, such as the information to be provided by both the user and the manufacturer, but it does not mean that it contains all the information required by the contract. The installation department of each gas turbine should be considered as a whole . Technical coordination should be carried out between the manufacturer and the user to ensure that the supplied equipment cooperates with each other, and more attention must be paid when the equipment is jointly supplied by several manufacturers. This standard applies to the open cycle gas turbine power plant of the conventional combustion system and the gas turbine power plant of the closed cycle, semi-closed cycle and combined cycle. For gas turbines using free-piston gas generators or gas turbines with special heat sources (such as chemical processes, nuclear reactors, booster boilers, etc.), this standard can also be used as a basis, but it needs to be modified appropriately. This standard does not apply to gas turbines used in aircraft, construction machinery, agricultural and industrial traction machinery, and automobiles.
