- This standard specifies the acceptance test method for gas turbine power plant to determine or test the main performance parameters such as power, thermal efficiency and other performances of gas turbine power plant. This standard applies to open cycle gas turbine power plants of conventional combustion systems, and also applies to closed cycle and semi-closed cycle gas turbine power plants. It can also be applied to gas turbine power plants with other heat sources after appropriate modification. This standard does not apply to aviation gas turbines and gas turbines under development.
