Scope
This standard is mainly to provide users with the technical information needed to purchase gas turbines and auxiliary equipment from manufacturers. Due to the different operating modes of gas turbines, performances such as standard rated power must be related to the various operating modes specified (including annual operating hours and annual average number of starts). Performance such as standard rated power should be achieved when standard reference conditions are met. When bidding, the gas turbine power plant should meet various requirements in terms of environment and safety. This standard provides the basis for this, and gives the requirements and methods for checking the environment and safety protection, but does not involve the relevant national and local laws and regulations that the gas turbine power plant must comply with. The fuel and other issues involved in this standard stipulate the information to be provided by both the user and the manufacturer, but each contract should supplement relevant information in light of specific conditions. Technical coordination must be carried out between the manufacturer and the user to ensure that the supplied equipment cooperates with each other, and more attention must be paid when the equipment is jointly supplied by several manufacturers. NOTE: The term "manufacturer" as used in this standard refers to the gas turbine manufacturer or an appropriate responsible contractor. This standard applies to open cycle gas turbine power plants and closed cycle and semi-closed cycle gas turbine power plants using conventional combustion systems. This standard also applies to free-piston gas turbines and gas turbine power plants with special heat sources (such as chemical processes, atomic reactors, booster boilers, etc.) after making appropriate modifications. This standard does not apply to gas turbines used in aviation power plants, construction machinery, agricultural and industrial traction machinery and automobiles.
