This part specifies the terms and definitions of protective coating specifications for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant facilities and equipment, coating system classification, technical requirements, test methods, coating operations and quality control requirements. This section applies to the application of protective coatings for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant facilities and equipment. This section does not apply to chemical media-resis ant coating systems and coating systems for buried facilities and equipment where there is a significant temperature difference in the thickness direction of the inner wall coating of the container.
