Scope
This part specifies test methods for laboratory evaluation of the effects of gamma ray irradiation on coating systems during normal operation during the design life of a nuclear power plant and under design basis accident conditions. This section is applicable to the evaluation of the performance of coating systems for pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants after prescribed dose rate and cumulative dose irradiation.
