This standard specifies the basic requirements for the qualification process, methods and acceptance criteria for generators in safety-level diesel generator sets in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This standard is applicable to internal combustion engine driven brushless self-excited three-phase synchronous generators with a rated voltage of (6~10.5) kV. It is not applicable to the identification of the generator excitation adjustment control part and the internal combustion engine part of the driven generator.
