Scope

This standard specifies the evaluation methods and indicators for the fuel consumption of passenger car models and the average fuel consumption of enterprises. This standard applies to M1 category vehicles that can burn gasoline or diesel fuel and whose maximum design gross mass does not exceed 3500kg. This standard does not apply to vehicles that only use gaseous fuels or alcohol-ether fuels.
