This standard specifies the evaluation methods and indicators for the fuel consumption of passenger car models and the average fuel consumption of enterprises. This standard applies to all M1 category vehicles whose maximum design gross mass does not exceed 3500 kg, including vehicles capable of burning gasoline or diesel fuel, pure electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles and Vehicles burning gaseous fuels. This standard does not apply to vehicles that only use alcohol-ether fuels.
