Scope
This standard specifies the terms, product models, requirements, inspection methods and rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of gravity-type automatic loading scales. This standard also provides standardized requirements, test procedures and tables for evaluating the metrological characteristics or technical characteristics of gravity-type automatic loading weighing instruments in a traceable manner. This standard applies to gravity-type self-feeding scales that allow single or multiple loads to reach a predetermined mass by automatic weighing. Gravity automatic loading weighing instrument is referred to as loading weighing instrument in this standard. This standard does not limit the maximum capacity or minimum capacity of a loading instrument. In addition, charging instruments may be required to meet certain requirements specified in other national standards. For example, when the loading weighing instrument adopts the non-automatic mode under normal circumstances, it should meet the requirements of the relevant standards for non-automatic weighing instruments; for the case of loading less than or equal to 25kg, it should meet the requirements of the relevant standards for the content of pre-packaged goods.
