Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product types, basic parameters and classifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of load cells used to measure mass. This standard applies to load cells for measuring static mass. The technical requirements of the instrument used together with the load cell and displaying the quality are stipulated by other relevant standards.
