Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and contract (or order) content of zirconium and zirconium alloy seamless pipes. This standard applies to zirconium and zirconium alloy seamless tubes produced by cold rolling (cold drawing). The Zr-0, Zr-2 and Zr-4 grade pipes in this standard are suitable for the nuclear industry, and the Zr-1, Zr-3 and Zr-5 grade pipes are suitable for general industry, can be used for heat exchangers, and can also be used in the pipeline.
