This document specifies the thiocyanate spectrophotometric method and the inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometric method for the determination of tungsten content in zirconium and zirconium alloys. This document is applicable to the determination of tungsten content in zirconium sponge, zirconium and zirconium alloy. Method 1 is suitable for the measurement range of tungsten content from 0.003% to 0.020%; method 2 is applicable to the measurement range of tungsten content from 0.005% to 0.050%.
