Scope

This standard specifies the methods and requirements for reducing the emission of halogenated refrigerants during the production, installation, testing, operation, maintenance, repair and scrapping of fixed-installed refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump equipment and systems. This standard applies to halogenated hydrocarbons and halogenated ether refrigerants.
