Scope
This Part of GB/T 25758 specifies the method for measuring the focus size by X-ray photographs with clear edges. This method requires that the focus size is between 5 μm and 300 μm, and the tube voltage of the X-ray tube can reach up to 225 kV. The quality and resolution of an X-ray image depends largely on the characteristics of the focal point. The focal imaging quality is based on the two-dimensional radiation intensity distribution at the target plane. For identification purposes, radiographic techniques are used. Note: If allowed, this measurement method can be used for higher kV voltage system, but the measurement accuracy may be reduced.
