Scope

For the hazards listed in Chapter 4 and Chapter 5, this part of GB 25431 specifies the safety requirements for the design and manufacture of the following die face pelletizers: underwater pelletizers; water ring pelletizers; dry Method granulator; centrifugal granulator; hob granulator. Strand pelletizers are not within the scope of this standard. This section does not cover requirements regarding the design of any exhaust system.
