GB 25431.1-2010
Scope
For the hazards listed in Clause 4.1 and Chapter 5, this part of GB 25431 specifies the safety requirements for the design and manufacture of the following types of rubber and plastic screw extruders: single-screw extruder; twin-screw extruder extruder; multi-screw/compound screw extruder; hot-feed extruder; cold-feed extruder; vented extruder; pin extruder. This part also covers the following feeding systems: bucket feeding systems; single roller feeding systems; twin roller feeding systems; body connector; static mixer; exhaust device; shear head device; extruder head (this section is only applicable to the head that gives the prototype of the plasticized material). This section does not apply to extruders without screws, for example: piston extruders; disc extruders; roller extruders.
