Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, model and basic parameters, technical requirements, testing, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of centrifugal turbine torque converters for oil drilling rigs. This standard applies to the design, manufacturing, inspection, acceptance and overhaul of torque converters.
