Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, testing and acceptance of new or modified track inspection vehicles and track inspection equipment. This standard is applicable to the rail inspection vehicles used in standard gauge railways whose construction speed is less than or equal to 200km/h. The rail inspection vehicles used in various wide-gauge, meter-gauge and urban light rails can be used as a reference.
