This standard specifies the requirements for strength design and test identification of railway vehicles. This standard is applicable to the identification of the structural strength of newly designed general-purpose non-powered vehicles used on standard gauge railways and their main components. Among them, the structural speed of passenger cars is not more than 200km, the structural speed of freight trucks is not more than 120km, the total traction weight of trains is not more than 6,000t, and the axle length of the coal transportation line is not more than 25t. The vehicle structure has changed significantly. When measuring the shape and sound intensity, it should be treated as a newly designed vehicle. The strength design of special vehicles should comply with this standard unless special requirements are stated in the design brief.
