Scope
This part and the first part of GB 25115 give the important hazards of ironing machines, feeding machines and folding machines. This Part applies to the following products: roller and trough ironing machines with a working contact area greater than 0.25m2; feeders for automatically feeding flat materials into ironing machines or folders; Folding machine for automatic folding of flat materials matched with type ironing machine; folding machine for automatic folding of small materials; multi-functional ironing machine. This section is used to guide the designer how to make a risk assessment of the hazard and select measures to achieve the required safety level. This standard does not apply to auxiliary equipment such as chemical supply pumps, steam valves and supply pipes, ventilation systems, material feeding systems, unloading systems and exhaust systems.
