Scope
This part and Part 1 of GB 25115 give important hazards related to washing machines and washer-extractors with a net volume greater than 60L. This section does not apply to special hazard provisions for drawer-type washing machines and washer-extractors. This section does not apply to the hazard regulations that the washed materials may produce explosion or combustible gases inside the machine. This part cites the basic requirements stipulated in GB/T 15706.1 and GB/T 15706.2, and supplements them according to the requirements of industrial washing machines to guide designers to make a risk assessment of hazards (see EN 1050) and how to select measures to achieve the required level of security. This section does not apply to auxiliary equipment such as chemical supply pumps, steam valves and supply pipes, ventilation systems, material feed systems, unloading systems and exhaust systems.
