This standard specifies the terms and definitions, model preparation method and type classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and other requirements for porcelain insulators used in electrostatic precipitators. In addition to being applicable to various porcelain insulators that maintain high-voltage electric fields in electrostatic precipitators with flue gas temperatures below 400°C, this standard is also applicable to porcelain insulators working in electric demisters and electric traps with similar working conditions. This standard does not apply to porcelain insulators used in working environments where the flue gas contains a large amount of coal tar and may cause condensation on the porcelain surface or be wetted by rain.
