- The purpose of this standard is to provide owners and users of the equipment listed below with guidance on inspection, maintenance, repair and restoration procedures to maintain the operational performance of such equipment. This standard applies to the following drilling equipment: turntable; turntable core filler; turntable slip; drilling hose; drilling pump parts; drawworks parts; chucks that cannot be used as elevators; manual lifting tongs; that cannot be used as lifting devices Safety slips; blowout preventer (BOP) installation system.
