- Scope
- This standard specifies detailed implementation guidelines for the maintenance, maintenance, installation and inspection of wire ropes used on cranes, and lists practical scrap standards to promote the safe use of cranes. This standard applies to the following types of cranes as defined in GB/T 6974.1-2008: - Cable and portal cable cranes; - Jib cranes (column, wall or bicycle); - Deck cranes; Cable mast cranes; - braced derrick cranes; - floating cranes; - mobile cranes; - bridge cranes; - portal or semi-gantry cranes; - portal or semi-portal cranes; ; — tower cranes. This standard may be applied to cranes, excavators or stackers using hooks, grabs, electromagnets, ladles, whether manually, mechanically, electrically or hydraulically. This standard also applies to hoists and lifting blocks using wire ropes.
