This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, service conditions, electrical parameters, technical requirements, tests, and nameplates, signs and documents of complete sets of low-voltage withdrawable switchgear and control equipment. This standard is applicable to withdrawable complete switchgear and control equipment for electric energy distribution and motor control, which are fixed and installed under normal indoor conditions, with a rated voltage AC not exceeding 1000V, a frequency not exceeding 1000Hz, and a DC not exceeding 1500V.
