Scope

This part of GB/T 4909 specifies the test principle, test equipment, test piece preparation, measurement procedures, test results and evaluation of the Brinell hardness test of bare wires. This section applies to the determination of the hardness of copper, aluminum and their alloy conductors. The upper limit of the Brinell hardness test range specified in this section is 150HBW. This section should be used together with GB/T 4909.1-2009.
