Scope

This standard stipulates the basic regulations for the production of vinyl chloride and its polymers, production safety, pipelines and equipment, inspection and maintenance safety, on-site emergency treatment, and safety management. This standard applies to newly built, rebuilt and expanded units that use the calcium carbide acetylene method to produce vinyl chloride and vinyl chloride polymers. Departments related to polyvinyl chloride production should also be used as a reference.
