This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels and packaging, as well as transportation and storage of red ginseng products. This standard applies to the processing and identification of red ginseng. When ginseng is used as medicine, it should follow the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China (the latest version).
