Scope: This standard specifies the classification, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of marine flange welding seat plates (hereinafter referred to as seat plates) whose flange connection dimensions are in accordance with GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501. This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of seat plates for ship piping systems whose media are air, distilled water, fresh water, sea water, lubricating oil, fuel oil and steam with a temperature not higher than 300°C.
