- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of marine flange-welded double-sided seat plates (hereinafter referred to as double-sided seat plates) with flange connection dimensions in accordance with GB569 and GB2501. This standard is applicable to marine piping systems whose media are fresh water, sea water, lubricating oil, fuel oil, air, steam and distilled water whose temperature does not exceed 300°C. Double-sided seat plates made of carbon steel are not suitable for ship piping systems where the medium is distilled water.
