Scope
This standard specifies the basic type, size and modulus of integral involute spline hobs with a modulus of 0.5mm to 10mm and a pressure angle of 30°, as well as a modulus of 0.25mm to 2.50mm and a pressure angle of 45°. Basic types and sizes of knives. This standard is applicable to hobs that process cylindrical spur involute splines whose basic tooth profile is in accordance with GB/T 3478.1 and whose dimensions are in accordance with GB/T 3478.4 or GB/T 3478.2. The hob with a pressure angle of 30° is suitable for A, B, and C precision, and the hob with a pressure angle of 45° is suitable for C-level precision.
