This standard specifies the general principles when computers are used as safety system equipment in nuclear power plants. The requirements of this standard, together with GB/T 13284.1-2008, specify the minimum functional requirements and design requirements for computers used as security system equipment. This standard applies to digital computers for nuclear power plant safety systems.
