Scope: This part is the practice specification for the inspection of the same-side tooth surface of involute cylindrical gears, that is, the practice specification for the inspection of tooth pitch, tooth profile, helical deviation and tangential comprehensive deviation. As a supplement to GB/T 10095.1, it provides recommendations on gear testing methods and analysis of measurement results. Many terms used are explained in GB/T 10095.1, others are explained where they appear or in Chapter 3.
