This standard is applicable to surface pollution measuring instruments and monitors that directly measure or directly detect emitting α and/or β nuclides, which at least include: —Detection devices (including counting tubes, scintillation detectors or semiconductor detectors, etc.), which can Fixed connection or connected by a flexible cable, or form a separate device; - measuring device Some measuring instruments and monitors consist of a detecting device and a measuring device, and the detecting device can be used alone, provided that the detecting device can be separated from the instrument. In order to comply with this standard, it is required that all instruments including detecting devices and measuring devices comply with the requirements of this standard, or that the detecting devices and measuring devices respectively comply with the requirements of the relevant parts of this standard. It cannot be inferred that the combined configuration of other special instruments also meets the standard. The latter mode of use allows users to use devices produced by different manufacturers for combined configuration. This standard is applicable to: —a surface contamination measuring instrument; —a surface contamination monitoring instrument; —β surface contamination measuring instrument; —β surface contamination monitoring instrument ; — a/β surface contamination measuring instrument; — a/β surface contamination monitoring instrument. The latter two devices are capable of simultaneously determining alpha and beta contamination and displaying the measurement results separately: - a (beta, a/beta) surface contamination measuring instrument: includes one or more radiation detectors and associated devices or basic functional units. When checking surface contamination, it is used to measure a(β, a/β) surface emissivity; —a(β, a/β) surface contamination monitor. This standard also applies to those instruments for special purposes and those designed for measuring surfaces with special properties. However, some requirements of the standard need to be modified or supplemented according to the special requirements of these instruments. If an instrument can realize multiple functions, the instrument must meet all the requirements of these different functions. If the instrument is mainly based on one function and has other functions, the instrument must meet all the requirements of the main function and meet the requirements of other functions as much as possible. This standard does not apply to radiation monitors or measuring instruments that measure or detect beta particles with a maximum energy less than 60 keV. The purpose of this standard is to specify the requirements of the standard and to give some examples of applicable methods. It also specifies general characteristics, general test conditions and methods. , radiation characteristics, electrical safety, environmental characteristics and certificates of a, β and a/β pollution measuring instruments and monitors
