Scope: The purpose of this technical report (TR) is to introduce GB/T l5969 series standards to end users of programmable logic controllers (PLC), and help them select PLC devices and technical specifications according to GB/T l5969 series standards. The primary audience for this user guide is PLC end users. The PLC and its application programs and related peripherals are all considered as an integral part of a control system. Therefore, PLC users should note that this part does not deal with PLCs and automation systems in which PLC systems are located, but only with PLC installations. However, when adopting this user guide, it is recommended that an assessment of the overall system architecture be performed. The functional safety of the entire automation system is not within the scope of this standard
