- This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, marking and packaging of internal combustion engine main bearing cap bolts and nuts. This standard applies to main bearing cap bolts and nuts (hereinafter referred to as bolts and nuts) of reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter of less than 20 mm.
