This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and contract content of atomized magnesium powder. This standard applies to magnesium powder produced by the atomization method and used as pyrotechnic agents, flares, catalysts, deoxidants, desulfurizers, reducing agents, refractory materials, engineering ceramic materials and solid fuels.
