- This standard specifies the classification, basic requirements, performance test and inspection methods of dangerous goods transport packaging, etc., and also specifies the types and marking codes of packaging containers. This standard is applicable to the transport packaging containing dangerous goods, and is the basis for the performance test and inspection of the quality of the transport packaging of dangerous goods by the transportation, production and inspection departments. This standard does not apply to: transport packages containing radioactive substances; packages for pressure vessels containing compressed gases and liquefied gases; packages with a net weight exceeding 400kg; packages with a volume exceeding 450L.
