Scope

This part of JB/T 2428 specifies the structural type, parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and warranty period of magnetic induction speed working hour meters for motor vehicles and internal combustion engines. This section applies to the magnetic induction tachometer driven by a flexible shaft installed on motor vehicles and internal combustion engines to indicate the engine operating speed, the mechanical operating hour meter that records the engine operating time, and the rotational speed operating hour meter composed of the two parts (hereinafter collectively called instruments). The magnetic induction speed working hour meter for ships and other special purposes can be used as a reference.
