- This standard specifies the structural type, parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and warranty period of magnetic induction speed operating hour meters for tractors and internal combustion engines. This standard applies to magnetic induction tachometers installed on tractors and internal combustion engines and driven by flexible shafts to indicate engine operating speed, mechanical operating hour meters that record engine operating hours, and rotational speed operating hour meters composed of the two parts.
