Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of aerosol paint products. This standard applies to the design, manufacturing and transportation of solvent-based paints and varnishes aerosol paint products with a nominal volume of less than 1000ml. This standard does not apply to aerosol paints that use metallic, reflective, fluorescent and other special pigments to achieve hiding power and color development.
