- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, quality certificates, markings, packaging and transportation of cast iron cooling staves (gray iron, ductile iron cooling staves) for blast furnaces. This standard applies to cast iron cooling staves for ironmaking blast furnaces of various volumes. If there are special requirements, they may be specified in drawings or special technical documents.
