Scope: This standard specifies the grade, order information, production method and chemical composition, technical requirements, sample preparation, test method, inspection rules, marking and quality certificate, rust prevention, packaging and storage of ductile iron castings. This standard is applicable to ordinary or low-alloy ferritic pearlitic ductile iron castings and solid solution strengthened ferritic ductile iron castings cast in sand molds or casting molds with equivalent thermal conductivity to sand molds. Ductile iron castings produced by special casting methods are also applicable. Can refer to use. This standard does not apply to ductile iron pipes, ductile iron pipe fittings, fittings and joints; this standard does not apply to austenitic ductile iron; this standard does not apply to austenitic ductile iron (austenitic ductile iron).
