Scope
This part specifies the system composition, main technical parameters, functions, protection, process and test requirements of the static var compensation device (SVC) closed water cooling device. This section applies to the subsystem of SVC used in power transmission systems and distribution systems - closed water cooling devices (hereinafter referred to as water cooling devices). SVC can be applied to power systems of 6kV and above, and the thyristor-controlled branches can be directly connected to 6kV ~ 66 (63) kV systems.
