Scope

This standard specifies the types, specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of insulator fixtures for live operations or power outages. This standard is applicable to insulator fixtures for AC transmission lines with voltage levels of 750kV and below and ±500kV DC transmission lines.
