Scope: This part of GB/T 19981 specifies the performance evaluation methods for fabrics and garments after dry cleaning and ironing according to the relevant procedures of GB/T 19981. This standard applies to identify changes in the properties of fabrics and garments caused by dry cleaning and ironing. This section lists the current standards for assessing these changes, and appendix A lists the very important properties that do not currently have evaluation method standards, as well as suggested methods for evaluating them. It is recommended that such content be reported in the test report (see Chapter 8 and Appendix B). For the evaluation of dimensional change, this method is one dry cleaning and ironing. If it is necessary to measure the gradual change, this method can be repeated for a specified number of times, generally not more than 5 times.
