Scope

This part of GB/T 19981 specifies the procedures for dry cleaning of fabrics and garments using commercial dry cleaning machines and hydrocarbon solvents. It includes dry cleaning procedures for common materials and dry cleaning procedures for sensitive materials (see 3.3 and 3.4). When using commercial dry cleaning equipment, national regulations and common rules should be followed.
