Scope
This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant nickel alloy in the form of bars, forgings, flash welded rings, and stock for forging or flash welded rings. These products have been used typically for rotating and structural parts requiring high strength at cryogenic temperatures and for short-time service up to 1000 degrees F (538 degrees C) and oxidation resistance up to 1800 degrees F (982 degrees C), but usage is not limited to such applications.
