Scope

This standard specifies current-operated earth leakage circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as earth leakage circuit breakers) with a rated current of 2500A or less, used for ground fault protection of electrical circuits with a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz and 600V AC or less.
