Scope

This standard applies to rated voltages of AC 440V or less (between lines) or love currents of 300V or less (to ground), rated currents of 150A or less, and rated short-circuit capacity of 25kA, including power supply voltage dependent and independent types. The following 50 or 60Hz earth leakage circuit breakers with overcurrent protection (hereinafter referred to as earth leakage circuit breakers) for residential and similar equipment are specified.
